Good Thing Copenhagen is Flat...

I arrived at Copenhagen yesterday night to perfect blue skies and clear weather, such a drastic change from the Sunset district where there was fog for like 3 straight weeks. First thing I noticed is that this place is clean. 2nd thing, the sun sets at 9:30pm and rises are around 4:30am. The sunset is like in slow motion. 3rd thing, everyone bikes here in copenhagen. It's real nice to bike around and get everywhere. You can't do that in SF. So I rented a bike today and biked all over the city. Beautiful city. Tons of harbors, great architecture, and perfect weather. Saw the mandatory mermaid statue and finally figured out why this whole city talks about H.C. Anderson so much. He's the city's most celebrated person and author of many stories that Disney has copied off of. So you see his name everywhere. People are really nice and most speak
English. The cheap fast food here is Sharwma and everything costs twice as much as in the states. Hot dog stands are everywhere and their prices are reasonable. In Copenhagen, it seems like there's a picturesque scene around every corner. The harbor, the buildings, lots of design everywhere.

It's my friend Greg's last day on the job today, so tomorrow we're heading out of town to neighboring Louisiana. Heard it's nice there too. I'll see if I can upload some pix to share before heading out to Berlin. It's 3am right now, so gotta hit the sack.
