Thx to the people who wished me a happy birthday or spent the time to hang out with me today. It does mean a lot when people take the time out of their busy lives to do so. Pretty low key today. Worked, good sg time, then head out for dessert with a good friend. Good low key stuff.
And if you know me, you would probably guessed that I had one of those deep introspective moments today. Don't wanna bore you with my ramblings, but I'm definitely blessed, blessed to have my family (my sis called me on my cell all the way from Japan...sweet), my friends (emails and calls from even Indiana!), a job that I'm passionate about even though it's at times stressful, and the constant interaction/relationship with God which is definitely interesting every single day. So I am thankful, and I'm a work in progress, but I like where I'm at and where I can go right now. It's the new year for me, the chinese new year, just a bit into the western new year, baggages that I had to let go, it's a fresh start. I'm keeping my head up and keep on running ahead...
Bought Romeo and Juliet DVD. Baz Luhrman is awesome. Loved the music. I'm gonna have to put in one of those songs on the upcoming "life soundtrack" cd... "Everybody's Free" song from Rozalla. Remember that? Man, that was so high school...
Hope some of you will be able to head out on Saturday for all the festivities. Chicken and Waffles, some football, going to the galleries, and get in on some swingdancing. Party on folks!
